Mari Mari – hello, my name is Joshua Benavides.

I guide people through deep transformational and decolonizing inner work rooted in awareness, attunement, healing, and embodied awakening.

My work weaves together ancestral wisdom, psychology, somatic awareness, spiritual growth, indigenous perspectives, shadow work, trauma healing, and relational healing into a path of profound remembrance and transformation.

At the heart of my work is a simple but powerful understanding:

The way we have been conditioned to live is not the fullness of who we are.

Many of us were taught to abandon ourselves in order to survive systems built on disconnection –  from nature, heart, body, community, spirit, emotion, and authentic humanity.

We learned to perform instead of belong.

To numb instead of feel.

To dominate instead of relate.

To consume instead of listen.

Healing asks us to remember another way.

I help people cultivate deeper presence, emotional integration, self-understanding, relational maturity, and alignment with their deepest values and essence.

This work is not about becoming someone else.

It is about recovering what was buried, reclaiming what was lost, and learning how to live in deeper alignment with ourselves, community, earth and spirit.

Because when we heal our relationship with ourselves, we begin healing our relationship with the world.
